16|Jul|2008 1Wow, great explanation of what you do, Simplaris. It looks like just what a small business guy needs to free him up to actually run the business.

24|Jul|2008 2I still have no idea what you’re about. What is it that you do? Soothe me? Cry me to sleep?
Implement the technology part of my business as a side-show, without it being central or integral to the rest of operations?

28|Jul|2008 3Glenn – Thanks for the kind words! It was definitely a fun challenge to develop a piece that captures this unique concept in a short period of time, and in relatively plain language. We wouldn’t be doing the brand justice if we couldn’t do this.
godDLL – Thanks for the feedback. We always appreciate insight that helps us refine and improve our message. To answer your question, the assumption that technology in its many forms is critical to the operation, profitability and success of virtually every small business today is fundamental to our model. At the same time, we recognize that it’s a pain point for many small business owners (and employees).
To put it as simply as we can, Simplaris delivers all of the key best-of-breed technology components that a typical small business needs to operate and grow – everything from their website to their accounting/payroll system – all from one vendor, accessible and integrated through one system. And, we’re backing it up with a unique support model that we’re hoping will be a throwback to the days where a small business had one (real) “account manager” to deal with at each vendor/provider.
The goal is simply to enable small businesses to take advantage of technology to the fullest, while simplifying it in order to free them to focus on their business (their passion).
We’re extremely excited to have moved beyond the branding and organizational stages, and begun the development of Simplaris. We’re working hard at developing new content for the launch blog to reveal more details and keep everyone apprised of the progress with development. Stay tuned for more posts in the coming weeks!

07|Aug|2008 4Any thing that will help people with technology is a good thing. If I know I can lean on one person to help my business through the ups and down of using technology, the better it is for my bottom line. To have technology there when I need it is a plus. Also paying for it when I use it is unheard of. I avoid SAS solutions with a huge monthly fee because most times I’m only using 1/10th of the software. A waste of money. Pay as I grow, great for small business.

11|Aug|2008 5Sounds like we can expect a solid product. Is there a roadmap available somewhere of when we expect to start seeing the product?

11|Aug|2008 6This looks to be a very interesting idea and I can’t wait to see it in action. Where/How can I find out more information?

12|Aug|2008 7I’ve always thought that the hardest part of using Internet technology was having to rely upon different people for how-man-different-things and not really knowing them at all. I love the idea of having everything I need to make my website happen be in one centralized place. That’s just awesome.

14|Aug|2008 8With any luck, this sounds like it just might be perfect for a number of the small business owners that I help out from time to time. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for you guys in the future!!!

14|Aug|2008 9Too often I hear of small business missing their opportunity to capitalize on the Internet simply because they do not know where to start and even once they do get a start it fizzle out on them because they neither have the time nor internal resources to keep abreast of the rapid changes taking place with the Internet. I see very clearly where Simplaris is going to fill that huge gap and make it possible for those businesses to succeed online. Great idea, I am looking forward to your launch.

15|Aug|2008 10Ryan and Vance - Thanks so much for your interest and support!
To answer your questions, we developed this Launch Blog to serve as the official source for ongoing information, development updates, product “sneak peaks”, etc. around Simplaris.
During late 2007 and the first half of 2008 we’ve been working very hard to develop and secure the Simplaris brand, refine the concept by consulting over 400 small business owners, develop collateral, specifications and project documentation, and get the word out (including this blog).
Now that our development efforts are completely ramped, we’ll be revealing more details about the company, concept, brand and offerings in the coming weeks including more detailed information and interviews with key team members. As we move further down the road of developing the technology, we’ll be releasing previews of our powerful small business management solutions, Business Acceleration Dashboard, new website and more as they evolve.
We look forward to hearing your reactions as we release more information!
Finally, I really encourage you to subscribe to the Launch Blog over email or RSS to get inside track updates on the development and launch of Simplaris using the “Subscribe and Share” box to the right. Stay tuned for a post in the coming weeks with further information on the purpose of the launch blog itself, including some extra special benefits just for subscribers
